Graduates of the PUC Teacher Residency Program go on to become change agents in education. They advance equity by delivering educational experiences that engage, motivate, and uplift all learners. As they grow into culturally responsive leaders, they help spark meaningful, long-term transformation in the schools and communities they serve.

Research shows that graduates of residency programs stay in education at higher rates than teachers who complete an internship program or a traditional student teaching route. This is often attributed to unique characteristics of residency programs, such as PUC TRP’s highly supportive cohort model, our mental health supports throughout the program, relational mentorship during and after the residency year, and relevant learning opportunities across the PUC network of schools for a robust learning and teaching experience.
